I recently had the pleasure of staying at Maison Colbert Melia, and I must say that it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the attentiveness of the hotel staff, who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was as enjoyable as possible. The general manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming and made a point of introducing himself to me upon my arrival. Throughout my stay, he checked in with me regularly to make sure that everything was going well and that I had everything I needed. He was always available to answer any questions I had and made some amazing recommendations for things to do in the area. But it wasn't just the general manager who impressed me - the entire hotel staff was top-notch. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Paris. The attentiveness of the hotel staff, location, cleanliness, and design of the common areas and rooms, really set this hotel apart and made my stay truly unforgettable.
We stayed 4 nights last week and our experience was outstanding! We’d like to highlight the lovely treat we have received from the staff. They spoke many languages which was paramount to feel comfortable when talking with them! Bedroom comfy and super clean, breakfast 8/10 maybe the could put more variety of food and more quantity, staff, as mentioned before 10/10.
This is a decent hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful, but this not a 5 star hotel. I recently stayed with 7 members of my team, and having been in Paris many times, this is a 4 star, max. There is no full time bar some days fully closed, none of us could control the temp in our rooms as the thermostat is fixed, we came back from dinner at 10:30pm, and were locked out because they are understaffed and the front door guy was elsewhere, and they don’t have an electric key option for guests, breakfast was terribly slow, and understaffed, so often we skipped. No real concierge service, either. In my room, you couldn’t sit straight on the toilet because your whole shoulder would collide with the towel rack, I had an open closet concept, so my clothes were hanging 18 inches from me as I laid in bed. Everyone complains of staffing issues, but a 5 star hotel would figure it out. This is largely a matter of setting expectations. Again, maybe a 4 star.
Me and my family stayed in the junior suite, which was very spacious, and I highly recommend it. They had all the nice 5-star touches that you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating considering my little one is a fussy eater. I got sick on the last day due to food poisoning, but it was nothing related to the hotel, and the staff were again going above and beyond to help me. I would stay here again. It’s a nice small hotel with a lot of French decor, and I highly recommend the junior suite as they have a sofa bed big enough for an adult to sleep on.
The location is superb, on a quiet street just a block from the Seine and a gorgeous view of Notre Dame Cathedral. It's also just 3 blocks from St. Michel Metro. The rooms are charming, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is delicious. It's our second stay here and we would come to this hotel again in a heartbeat.Chambres : 5/5
Such a beautiful place to stay in Paris. The staff were both extremely helpful and friendly. The location was great, making it easy to get to the main tourist attractions and famous landmarks.Chambres : 5/5
My daughter and I stayed at Meliá Colbert Paris to celebrate her 13th Birthday and Spring Break. The hotel is really gorgeous and in a great location to metro, bistros, cafes and Notré Dame. The staff was phenomenal!! At check-in I mentioned we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and later that evening when we returned to our room there were decorations, pastry, beverages and a note see pics Everyone we encountered was kind and very attentive. Highly recommend this hotel! I chose a room with view of Notré Dame its a construction view ‍, room 32 which was just big enough enough for two with luggage. The bed was comfortable and the room was refreshed daily with clean towels, bottled water and toiletries.
Hôtel magnifique et chambre parfaite! L'équipe était au petit soin et très aimable! Nous avons particulièrement adoré les petites douceurs offertes dans la chambre. Le buffet petit-déjeuner était un régal ! Nous avons passé un bon petit séjour.Chambres : 5/5
My husband and I just returned from a trip to Paris, and our stay at the Maison Colbert Hotel was exceptional and exceeded every expectation. We booked the Elena Sorolla Suite, and this room was incredible! Over 500 sq ft, this suite is enormous and so well decorated. It has every amenity you can imagine. The bed was heavenly. The shower was incredible, as was the soaking tub. But the amazing customer service is where this hotel really shines! Everyone...from the manager, front desk personnel, the concierge, housekeeping...everyone was so friendly and helpful. They answered our endless questions and requests for recommendations and attended to our every need. A trip to Paris is always special, but this hotel made our trip exceptional. Thank you to the entire staff for making our trip so memorable. This truly was a 5 Star experience.
