Avis
A wonderful hotel. Staff always super friendly, room was spotlessly clean, modern and designed to look like a train carriage! Didn't have breakfast as it was expensive at 18 euros but can imagine it was good. 2 min walk from Gare du Nord so perfect if you have a train. However the area is very dodgy so be careful, lots of theft especially to tourists.
We were greeted by Manon and one of her colleagues apologies we can’t remember her name both were pleasant and welcoming. The service was exceptional and the room was beautiful. They answered any questions we had and were accommodating even with us running late for the private sauna we requested. They were happy to take care of our luggage. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again when we come back to Paris! Chambres : The room is beautifully designed, very clean and the shower was amazing. The balconies were stunning. Plats et boissons : The food was so delicious and wonderfully presented. Détails intéressants : The entrance to the spa/sauna was perfect, you hop straight in the elevator and make your way to the private area.
A cute, well designed hotel with excellent front-desk staff who really want to make your stay a pleasant one. We stayed in room 504. It had a foyer for hanging coats and placing luggage. The bathroom was great and had a wonderful shower with rain head. Room faced the street but with double windows, we did not hear a peep, even on a Saturday night. Bed was comfortable and we got a great night’s sleep. Climate control was effective. Room service was prompt and the food was of a high quality. The breakfast buffet offered good variety and wonderful coffee in a cozy, charming space. For a treat, look up while eating your breakfast! A special thanks to Manon, who made our visit extra enjoyable, and thanks also to the owners for creating such a great little hotel.
When traveling, I love finding boutique hotels and this location intrigued me. My partner and I were traveling to Paris and his father was along for this visit. It was his first time in Europe and we wanted it to feel special. Since he used to work with trains before retirement, we thought this would be a fun experience for him. Upon arrival, it was clear that all three of us were equally excited with the decor and aesthetic. This hotel is excellent. The rooms are modest in size, but we all knew this going into it. They mimic what one might expect on-board an actual luxury overnight train. We stayed on the 6th floor the highest floor — our bed was comfortable and we got a great night’s sleep. Granted, we were exhausted from long days out. For being next to a train station, the noise was minimal. The shower pressure was wonderful especially for being a waterfall shower head! and we enjoyed that the towel rack had an on/off switch to warm the towels. At the time of my review, breakfast was served from 7:00-11:00 AM. I booked directly through their website, so this was included in the rate. They had a good selection of fresh and delicious items — scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, yogurt, fruit, prosciutto, cheese, juices, and coffee. I wasn’t sure what to expect before arrival and was very delighted with the options. The location is also very close to Gare du Nord — which runs Metro, RER, trains to the Airport, and trains through Europe. It’s incredibly convenient to get to where you need to go! In terms of safety, I personally felt safe and would definitely stay here again as a solo female traveler or as a couple. My partner and I walked to several restaurants throughout our stay and had no issues with navigation. There were sometimes but not always a few people around the train station attempting to sell random items — but it’s no different than other major cities. I just walked past them and onwards to my destination. The staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. Same goes for the breakfast attendant. Overall, we were thrilled with this hotel and I have no negatives. It’s just important to know in-advance about the room size — but they have this information on their website. I will definitely opt to stay here during a future trip to Paris! Chambres : Modest in size but a great value! Our bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Great for a solo traveler or couple! Sécurité : We felt safe but it’s like any major city ie. New York City. Accessibilité piétonne : Extremely convenient to the Gare du Nord train station and close to a variety of restaurants! Plats et boissons : Fresh breakfast selection at the time of my review — scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, yogurt, fruit, prosciutto, cheese, juices, and coffee. Everything was delicious and the hours were from 7:00-11:00 AM.
I had a lovely stay! It’s a small hotel but very conveniently located close to both nord and est stations. It has a train/travel deco theme which was adorable, and the balcony was also cute and refreshing especially with such large windows. Their breakfast runs 7-10, and my booking had it included but as I had to leave before then I asked if I can grab a croissant or two early, and the staff prepared a bag of baked goods and a cup for coffee - thank you! flexible and accommodating staff is always appreciated and a huge plus
Hotel is extremely convenient to Gare du Nord. Breakfast was good with plenty of selections and variety. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. There was a little bit of the mix up with our room and the beds not being separated but we were able to have that fixed. From an American perspective the rooms are definitely small. Comparative to a New York City size but this is to be expected in Paris. We did pay for a larger sized room and I question if we were placed in one as I cannot imagine a bed fitting in anything smaller. Shower was nice. The elevator/lift was small but worked and was nice to have with luggage. As an American traveler used to AC at all times, I did find the rooms a little too warm at night and opening the windows helped but let in too much noise from the busy streets near the train station. The room had some visible wear throughout on the furniture and walls, but everything was still clean. Overall would give this a 4.5/5 for the staff and location.
Fantastic location - directly between both major train stations. Lots of cafes all around it. Montmarte is about a 20 minute walk from here. But cabs are constantly flowing through. Room was very nice. It includes air conditioning. It’s a pricey place but it was worth it ultimately.
The rooms are smaller than normal but acceptable based on its location. The staff are very accommodating. Was even allowed to grab some breakfast items even before its regular opening when we checked out early.Chambres : 4/5
Lovely little hotel right in the heart of Paris only a few meters from the entrance to the Gare du Nord. The room was small but perfectly formed. The train theme was perfect and really made the room feel unique. The bathroom was a good size. Although we had a front room, the soundproofing was brilliant so we were not disturbed by the obligatory scooters late at night! Breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with plenty to try from pastries to fresh fruit, cheese and meats. Best of all, they were happy to drop our bags off in the morning before check in so we could explore Paris, and leave our bags after checking out so we could collect them on the way to the station. Would definitely stay here again
Rooms are good size comparing to other hotels in the same price range. Very accessible, great for those travelling via eurostar and want a place to stay. We didn’t get the breakfast as it’s surrounded by cafes. The room had USB chargers by the bed and clean and nice bathChambres : 3/5
