Petit hôtel de charme cosy au charme désuet Malheureusement il manque quelques petits plus comme un petit frigo, un coffre ou une cafetière. Le personnel est globalement agréable mais pas tous. Et la chambre manque un peu de finition au niveau ménage. Ça reste un lieu chaleureux et surtout bien placé.Chambres : 3/5
Un hôtel très bien placé, chambres agréables et très bien équipées, petit déjeuner parfait. Mention spéciale pour l’ensemble du personnel, professionnel, souriant et accueillant. Je recommande fortement !
Avant même d'avoir réservé le personnel a répondu à toutes mes questions très rapidement. J'ai été accueilli très chaleureusement, tout le monde est à disposition pour chaque besoin. Les chambres sont certes petites mais parfaitement bien entretenues. La vue est bof mais le but du voyage c'est de visiter Paris pas de l'admirer de l'hôtel. J'ai gardé le meilleur pour la fin le petit-déj est un pur délice. Accessibilité piétonne : Transport en commun à proximité. Et pour les plus courageux la marche à pied est faisable.
No air conditioning for 2 days during a 92 degree plus heat wave. gave us a floor oscillating fan. Then the power went out completely for 2 days for 2-3 hours each time. Yes, they tried to make amends by giving us a $50 discount for each night and free breakfast, but I do NOT recommend. Was there twice. Arriving for 3 nights and departing for 2. The first time the room was small but adequate. The 2nd time the room was REALLY small and the shower in the bathroom must have been designed for small children. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do your homework. You can do better at 170-220 a night. when I brought any of this up, all we received were excuses, never solutions. Location is the very best.
I’m sure the hotel looks nice but the customer service is appalling. They happy to take your money instead of being compassionate and change dates of travel because of sudden general strikes! they told me they can’t change the system but obviously as a small chain they could if they wanted to but they rather make quick cash than have return business or customer satisfaction. Very disappointed.
Lovely friendly small hotel in a relatively quiet street, close to three metro stations. Rooms are small, as ever in Paris, with little storage space, but very clean and a window you can open essential for me. The public reception space on the ground floor is divided into several areas so a good place to relax and read a book etc
Hôtel simple mais agréable. Chambres accueillantes et propres. Ménage tous les jours. Personnel sympa et aidant. Très bien situé à 2 pas de la gare Montparnasse. Idéalement placé pour visiter St Germain et pour les fous de théâtreChambres : 5/5
The elevator broke down and they told us it was because we are turning on the air-condition in our room!!! Like how does that even make sense. They lied to us saying a discount on the rate per night of 50 euro will apply when we pay but only gave us 50 euro total and free breakfast when we need to the airport and got no time to eat. Never stay in this hotel it is trash...bad communication skills...ancient building stay away.
The main reasons for the lower rating are the following: 1. The aircon was leaking water quite a lot after about 2-3 minutes of use. I left the staff know immediately down stairs and they said they would attend to it but never did. 2. Very small room with no fridge. 3. Lifts were very slow and there is only one. 4. It was pouring rain and we asked if the hotel had an umbrella we could borrow to walk down the road and buy one. They stated it was 10 euro to loan this. Pros for the stay: Free tea and coffee, friendly staff who are always available, great location, nice balcony window, nice outdoor seating area downstairs, close to public transport
Good Stay Decently sized, clean, hotel. I stayed for 6 nights in early April, booked through hotels.com. Communication with the hotel was good. Staff was friendly and spoke some English. The room was quiet, perhaps a little warm. Solved by opening the balcony door during the day. The bed was memory foam, supportive and comfortable. Two types of pillows. There were enough electrical plugs, though only on 1 side of the bed. Small balcony. Shower was just ok. Took a long time for hot water. The curtain was dragging on the floor of the shower. It was difficult to cover the opening and the material blew inwards. It still had good pressure and worked. Breakfast was lacking. 14 euros, buffet style. Pastries were sub par for Paris. Coffee was atrocious, I could not bring myself to try the scrambled eggs as they looked slimy. No biggie, lots of places close by, way better for cheaper. Location was good. Close to coffee shops bakeries grocery stores and metro. If you walk, Eifel Tower is 45 mins away. Value was good, I would definitely stay here again.
