Serveur odieux et désagréable qui annonce à la dernière minute qu’il n’accepte la carte bleue qu’à partir de 16 € : très pratique quand on veut prendre un café clientèle de vieux : on se croirait dans la salle à manger d’un EHPAD, décoration des années 60, prix prohibitifs…. À FUIR !!!!
Alors l’accueil est effectivement peu enthousiaste au premier abord mais ça a juste l’air d’être le caractère de la personne ça, parce que après avoir un peu échangé avec le monsieur il est gentil et respectueux en vrai, au delà de ça on a bu une bière en terrasse au soleil avec un pote juste en face du jardin du Luxembourg pour pas si cher pour Paris donc je recommande carrément pour boire un coup en après midi. C’est une ambiance calme donc parfait pour discuter mais effectivement ce n’est pas très « vivant » et aucun soucis pour payer les boissons en CB pour 15€ donc le commentaire qui parle de 20€ minimum n’est plus d’actualité.
Alors franchement un très bon accueil de la part du patron, la nourriture était top et faite maison tagliatelles basques et fish& chips non franchement c'est super !!
Accueil peu enthousiaste.. Pain servi sec d'hier.. pourtant reçu soit disant du jour... Bons plats mais cher pour le rapport qualité / prix.

De savoureux produits locaux pour de délicieuses spécialités basques. Un service discret...le.sourire jamais loin pour partager une plaisanterie du moment. Le cadre nous fait rêver. Ici, pas de wifi. Tout est ICI !
It writes on the outside "basque speciality" but it did not felt that way. The menu was rather small and not very clear. However the man serving was quite nice and all in all was a good experience eating there. The food was good and the draft beer was rather good and it was a "basque" beer.
Horrible food. Guests are not the first priority. Cheating them out of money, value, and quality is. The worst 25 euros ever spent. The menu did not look interesting to me. I wanted a salad but it was pricy. I was reading the menu standing outside. The waiter talked me into sitting down. I explained that I don't know if I want to spend 16 euros on a salad. We agreed I would order a crépe for 6€. He is asking if I want water, if I want sparkling. I say just regular water. He brings a 250 ml tiny bottle of flat water. In the end, turns out this water is 4.50€. Fine, my fault.. I probably didn't say it loudly enough that I wanted tap water. Though I think the server understood. The crépe was so dry, hard, and thick, I couldn't cut it with a knife!!! I tried tearing a piece off. I almost wanted to eat it using my hands like it's a slice of pizza. I was so incredibly hungry. I tried my best to get to like it. It was absolutely not delicious and, as I mentioned, dry and I chewable like a rubber. I decide to be nice and not complain at first. I got up to pay politely. Turns out, they don't take cards for my 11€ bill 6+4.50+tax. They proceed to tell me it's a 20€ minimum. Everywhere else there was never a problem to use a card with a maximum of 5-10€ as a minimum. I tell them that I would order something else. I also add that I couldn't eat the crépe because it was very bad. They saw the plate with the crépe still on it. It looked like someone battled with it. They shut down the conversation saying that I didn't like it because I didn't like the citrus syrup since it's too strong. No. I didn't like it because it wasn't fresh and you know it. Also, the citrus flavoring was only on a small part of the crépe. I tried to eat around and would've been satisfied IF it was not rubber and if it didn't taste like nothing. Again, I'm trying to be nice to not perpetrate the stereotype of rude English speaking tourists. I did not argue seeing they don't want to listen or take responsibility. I ordered a 13.50€ "Parisian" salad. Oh my gosh was it bad. Being fare, I dismiss the fact that it doesn't taste good because there is a chance that it's a traditional recipe that I alone did not fine delicious. BUT what's so upsetting to tears is that THE LEAFS WERE BROWN. The salad had a lot of brown spots. It is so upsetting that people who work there dare to serve something this unappealing and not fresh. So very upset. I know I made a mistake of being too hungry at a tourist area. But I had no idea it's possible to serve such bad food. As you can see they charged me for both dishes with a smile. I was shocked and left without saying bye because the female chef or the owner who was running the transaction was too busy yelling at someone else. I want my money back. It is a good pricey lesson for me to not expect from people to take pride at what they do and to be fare and honest. I also took pictures the food. Terrible terrible place! Go anywhere else.
